insight-space was born out of a research project funded by the Studio Innovation Fund (SIF) available to Bath Spa University's 'The Studio' residents and external partners. Jenny (Materials in Mind, FactoryX) and Nick (Futureground) approached one another with the same idea - to explore novel use-cases of an increasingly ubiquitous technology (LiDAR & 360 building scanning) applied to un(der) used spaces.
